The  biblical meaning of the name Kemuel is: raised of God.

 

Kemuel was the son of Nahor and father of Aram, another kemuel was a prince of the tribe of Ephraim, and one of the 12 men selected to apportion the promised land between the tribes, other Kemuel mentioned in the bible was a prince of the tribe in the time of David

 

The name Kemuel appears in the bible in the following verses:

Genesis 22:21
Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,

Numbers 34:24
And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
